Project Va-U is a multifunctional, cost effective and portable air purifier solution that tries to re-think the concept of an air purifier and amalgamate the essence of modularity, appealing aesthetics and functionality in one concept.

The name Va-U was derived from the Sanskrit word Vaayu. Vaayu translates to “Wind”.

The main goal of the project was to develop a threefold solution which tries to break the bounds of conventional design.

Drew inspiration from existing concepts that help understand the current trends, aesthetic peculiarities and forms. The mood board also helps understand the colour trends and also shows light on the importance of 'cmf' in the design.

Based on the inspiration from the mood board, various sketching/ideations of forms, functions, unique features, bold aesthetics etc. helped choose appropriate design and helped taking a step closer to the final design.

Rapid CAD Modelling of the selected ideations gave further clarity towards developing a functional design.
How it Works.. The concept is basically an air purifier that has an integrated table lamp. The Whole module is meant to sit on the side table which replaces the conventional table lamp and also makes room for an air purifier in the same space. The p
